preparations must be made
so even though I'm not too stoked about the fact that fun gods and ground ctrl are seriously testing my patience because I haven't received my friday and fun1 pass for my friend diane, although my PIP pass did come in. I had to call ground ctrl like 3 times already and they keep telling me it'll be shipped in a few days, only it hasn't been. super extra mondo annoying! whats the point in buying a fun1 pass without knowing the lineup and any deets and just blindly buy one to save what, 10 bucks? honestly, I'd rather have paid ten more dollars and have received my ticket in a timely manner, but whatever, I can't change the fact that they are seriously disorganized.
anyways, I digress....despite my current beefy situation with the powers that be, I'm still beyond excited for this weekend. Today doesn't even feel like halloween, except for the fact that I get to take my little munchkin trick-or-treating tonight. saturday I took her to a pumpkin patch and yesterday to the zoo so that she could have a really really fun weekend this weekend and I wouldn't feel guilty about having so much fun away from her this coming up weekend, even though its her dad's weekend either way.
seriously, mayor of tangent city, USA today, sorry. the point of this blog was about preparations. I'd love to be able to just hibernate all week and build up some serious energy, but that's not going to happen. I start a new class tomorrow and have to work all week, except for friday, so def won't be getting extra rest, but I think I'll try to not go do anything in the evenings except for tonight, in order to save my energy.
are you going to drink a case every night all week?
are you jamming your most anticipated artists getting ready for all out sing along?
are you practicing your dance moves in the mirror?
are you getting checked for stds at the local clinic?
are you carefully laying out the best outfits to maximize your personal brand?
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO PREPARE FOR THIS MONUMENTAL EVENT THAT IS UPON US?????

Preparations include working overtime to pad my check for bills that I'll be putting off, getting lots of sleep so I can party all day and night, and staying as sober as I can so I don't burn myself out or jack my tolerance up too high. That, and laundry. What an exciting life I lead!
