oh and purity ring
forgot to write about this in my lil bloggy about moving but the purity ring album is so worth the long wait and anticipation. it is just beyond amazing.
its cool to hear some of the songs that hadn't been released during fun fest last year that they played. i.e. the song I'm currently listening to amenamy.
I love the juxtaposition between dark and light. the lyrics and music have a slight creepiness to them and yet her voice is sweet and a lot of the music also has a light, airy, dancey vibe.
hope they come to austin at a non-rave event very very soon!!!
