Best Shows Best Sets
Some of the best shows/sets I've ever experienced were done so last year. Here's more about them:
caP'n Jazz- seeing them was the whole reason I decided to go to FunFunFun last year. I was already going to Fest 9...little did I know the festival would live up to it's tripple fun name. I've never cried at a show before and by the end of their set I was a puddle. It was euphoric to bounce around and sway with hundreds of other people screaming out to songs that have had such a huge impact on me.
Off!- Keith Morris. Keith. Morris. He's someone I've looked up to for so long. Not only did Off! blow my mind, but he hung out with me and best friend- actually hung out. He talked to us about our current pursuits and cared. Its always so nice to meet someone who influenced your life and find they're real, true, awesome human beings.
Valient Thorr- I saw them a week prior as well at Fest 9. These guys put on the best show I've ever seen. So awesome. I'm a Thorrior, what can I say...
Big Freedia- New Orleans Sissy Bounce is something I love. Living in the dirty south, its nice to see a local perform and do it big outside of the area. She's amazing.
Strike Anywhere- I've seen them maybe 5 times and any time I get a chance to listen to/hear/see Strike Anywhere I do it. I love this band. I love their message. I've never gotten so charged because of a show. If you have a passion in your heart, this band will bring it out.
Peelander Z- Nothing compares to their set. Nothing. So much fun.
The Vandals and The Casualties- I've dreamed of seeing both these bands since I can remember and getting to see them both in the same weekend- ON THE SAME STAGE!- was amazing...not to mention I experienced my first wall-of-death. Craziness.
So much more... To Be Continued!

Both times I've seen Valient Thorr things got crazy. I think that's just the nature of the beast. There's no such thing as rocking too hard! (Well, maybe...haha. )

OFF! was amazing! I saw them again this year at MWTX! The pit there was pretty brutal because of the insane amount of dirt. Some kid even got on the ground and just started throwing dust in the air! But it was fun.
yea after watching Valient Thorr at FFF fest last year i am a devoted Thorrior! We even saw them again this year in dallas at the doublewide. It was an insane show because it was such a small venue. We even rocked so hard the PA fell on Bonnie Blowtorch! I still feel bad about it, think we were rocking too hard...
