Two different shows I'd like to see tonight (Corrosion of Conformity at Emo's & Salt-n-Pepa, etc at Austin Music Hall), but I will be foregoing both in order to help one of my closest friends celebrate her 36th birthday.

I'm also looking forward to seeing The English Beat. The Pixies... Social Distortion... Dirt Nasty & Beardo...Swingin' Utters... Chris Isaak... The Vibrators... The Legendary Pink Dots. Yeah, lotsa good shows over the next few months!

The English Beat! How fun! This fall season is so jam packed with shows that I could schedule one, almost daily. So far, we have tickets to go see Daniel Ash, Atari Teenage Riot and Helmet. Probably going to try to squeeze Ween and a few others in before FFFFest.

what line up? i love them too, but when i went and saw them a couple of years ago it was essentially a dave wakeling fronted band with no original members... :( ranking roger is doing the beat uk with some of the other original members i think, but i don't know if they come stateside much. so there are two parts of the whole out there floating around. i want a straight up reunion show please cause that would be awesome!
