I think M83 might be my new Modest Mouse. As in: a band that has been around for ages and everyone else has already heard of but I suddenly discovered like 3 weeks ago and now am like downloading every single piece of music I have ever heard and am all "omg you guys" and everyone else is like "shut up dummy."

But anyway M83 = good. Hurry Up We're Dreaming kind of reminds me in a weird way of being a kid in the 80s where my parents listened to crappy soft rock like Rick Astley but there were all these movies I would sort of inadvertently catch on HBO that had this kind of burned-out gritty mid-80s thing going on with them. You know, really "Drive"-like. Good work capturing a weird gross/awesome feeling from the 80s, Drive.
