No A/C
This sucks. Our a/c has been out for over a week now. The home owners insurance guy said it blew a circuit board and he would order a new one to come in on Saturday. Saturday has come and gone. Now he claims they no longer make the part but he could "rig" the unit to work but it would void the warranty. It's running over 90° in the house even at night. I was born and raised in this Texas heat but this just sucks now.

Damn, yeah, A/C is a necessity these days, methinks. Hope they get you squared away! The two times I've had a home warranty, I've let it lapse due to similar frustrations I (and my wife and kids) encountered, and we just try to put money aside for home stuff these days.
I hope yer A/C gets to blowing cold soon!!!!

That's certainly no bueno! When I was growing up in West Texas, we lived in a trailer with no a/c...it was absolutely miserable. I certainly feel for ya!

Ugh. Feel for you, brother. Our A/C was out a total of 3 weeks, last summer, during the dreaded drought of the century. Do not envy you. Makes me wonder how the hell everyone got through the summer months before swamp coolers? Especially with all those wool clothes, three piece suits and corsets, etc.
