fun fest is gonna be extra fun this year
so i've had my weekend fun fest ticket early bird long time ago. the new bf hasn't been before and when i saw that the lineup was full of bands he talks about i knew that he would love to go. so, i procured him a weekend pass and he about had a heart attack because he was so excited. now i get to see all my favorite people from last year and have somebody to share the whole fest with. i knew that if i was dating someone who got to go and i didn't then i'd be pissed. they get to see all these badass bands and have all this fun and i'm stuck at work and being poor at home. fuck that, now we both get to go. i won't get to spend as much money while i'm there, but who cares? the bands are gonna be rad, the people are always great and with a new venue and transmission pulling out all the stops it's gonna be the best year i've gone.

I totally hear ya. Last year, the only reason I wasn't able to make it (first FFF i've missed) is because I couldn't afford tickets for myself and my ex, who ended up going without me anyway. And that was with my favorite band, ever, playing. This year, I made sure in advance that me and my current lady could both make it in. I had to go PiP though, since I'm not just shelling out beer for one.
