Jaws on Blu Ray

Watching Jaws on Blu Ray, I just realized something. It came out on Tuesday, and what week is this on Discovery Channel? SHARK WEEK! Sometimes my mind is blown by the simplest things like realizing shit like that.....

Anyway, I'm enjoying watching drunk ass Robert Shaw hunt the shark and Richard Dreyfus act flustered and occasionally shrieking in his high-pitched weasel voice! Just realized, Richard Dreyfus in this movie looks like what Steven Spielberg later ended up looking like! Do you think Spielberg took fashion cues from the great Dreyfus? I think so. I need to go to sleep.

    Weird, somehow Jaws kept coming up in conversation and then one of my students let me know it was being released on Blu Ray the same day. Is there a big difference watching it on the Blu Ray format? I kinda think the grainy quality is what made that movie.
