Keith Morris talking about the genesis of OFF!
So by now y'all probably know my favorite band is OFF!. They've turned out to be pretty great people too. I thought I'd post a couple of links to a video my friend Eric Blair did where he asked Keith why the Circle Jerks ended and how that lead to OFF!. I've heard both sides of the story, from Keith and from Greg. Of course they both blame the other, but I tend to side with Keith on the whole debacle. Keith tooks some great songs to Greg, and Greg told him to fuck off and that they had no place on a Circle Jerks album. So fuck it, now we have OFF!.

It's funny cause Greg still cribs Circle Jerks guitar parts and uses them over on new Bad Religion stuff. Love Bad Religion, but Greg's a dick when it comes to making music. He staged a mutiny on Keith, and Keith just started a new project that is more popular than the Jerks have been in 20 years. This is why he is a great man.
