Well it looks like one of my dream bands for FFFF 2010 won't be playing. Instead they'll be at Austin Music Hall where a bunch of hipster trash will crush to the front and choke everyone with the stench from the clove cigarettes they just smoked outside while they sipped gin and tonics. I love you Pixies, but poor venue choice, to the max.
Hopefully, Graham and all the fine fellows at Transmission have a headliner for the Black Stage that will make unicorns shoot out of my ass to alleviate the pain of not seeing a great alternative band like The Pixies. Smoking Popes anyone? Mr. Bungle? Neurosis? Faith No More? Circus Of Power? Heh?
