Franklin's BBQ and Brunch

So life has been pretty boring lately. I have the same routine everyday: wake up, workout, eat, shower, feed the cats, nap, get up, go to work, take a break, go to second work, come home, and go to sleep. The only thing that's keeping me from losing my mind is the promise of Franklin's on Friday and a Sunday off (with the boyfriend I might add).

Franklin's is probably, no definitely, the most glorious thing I have ever put in my mouth. If you've never tried it...I strongly encourage you to do so, but show up early because they only stay open as long as they have food.

As for Sunday, I'm thinking maybe a little Weirdo's action...bottomless mimosas (if they still have them), but SHHHHH! Don't tell TABC. That's definitely not legal.

If anyone has any brunch suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Preferably anything that is cheap because I am broke as fuck.

If you go to Franklin's, get the brisket, it's heavenly.

I'll add Franklin's to my list of places to try! I agree, Sagra is the $hit. I haven't been there for a while but when I went on a Sunday they did have $1 mimosas and bellinis :)

looooooove mimosas. if the human body holds 8 pints of blood, 1 of my pints might be mimosa.

re: brunch suggestions: def check out sagra. it's not expensive, very yummy, and also cheap mimosas/bellinis(sp?). 17th and san antonio--ish.
